Pinangalanan ang aktor na si James Reid bilang Ambassador of Food Security ng Department of Agriculture (DA).
Sa Instagram, nagpasalamat ang aktor sa ibinigay na pagkakataon ng kagawaran sa kaniya para makatulong.

Samantala, pinangunahan ni DA Secretary William Dar at iba pang opisyal ang paglulunsad ng Plant Plant Plant program sa DA Central Office sa Quezon City, araw ng Martes.
Kasama sa paglulunsad ng bagong proyekto si James at young agripreneurs na sina Jeffrey Oh at Fiona Faulkner.
Nangako naman ang aktor na patuloy na magpapakalat ng impormasyon sa publiko ukol sa adbokasiya ng DA sa kampanya ukol sa food security, food accessibility at affordability, at importansya ng tungkulin at kontribusyon ng mga magsasaka at mangingisda.
