LTFRB nag-isyu ng special permit sa mga bus operator para maihatid pauwi ng lalawigan ang mga OFWs
Nag-isyu ng temporary permit ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) sa mga bus operator na naatasang maghatid sa mga Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) sa kanilang mga lalawigan.
Nagtayo ng on-site mobile processing center sa Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) ang ang LTFRB para sa mabilis na pagproseso ng special permit.
Tinatayang 200 bus units mula sa iba’t ibang operators ang mabibigyan ng special permits.
“The on-site mobile processing center has been setup, in an effort to fast-track the issuance of special permits for the buses which will be used for the ‘Balik Probinsya’ Program,” ayon kay DOTr Assistant Secretary for Road Transport and Infrastructure Mark de Leon.
Hindi naman sinigil ng special permit fees ang nasabing mga bus operator.
