Niyanig ng magnitude 5.9 na lindol ang Wellington sa New Zealand.
Ayon sa datos ng US Geological Survey, ang pagyanig ay may lalim na 45 kilometers at naitala sa 25 kilomters northwest ng Levin.
Kalaunan ibinaba ng USGS sa magnitude 5.6 ang pagyanig.
Wala namang naitalang pinsala ang mga otoridad sa nasabing pagyanig.
