Pagsasaayos ng Marawi Transcentral Road, target ng DPWH matapos sa Disyembre

Target ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) na makumpleto ang rehabilitasyon ng Marawi Transcentral Road sa Lanao Del Sur sa buwan ng Disyembre sa taong 2020.

Sa kabila ito ng dalawang buwang suspensyon ng construction activities bunsod ng COVID-19 pandemic.

Ayon kay Emil Sadain, DPWH Undersecretary for Unified Project Management Office (UPMO) Operations & Technical Services, nasimula na muli ang pagsasaayos sa 18.97-kilometer project.

Ang proyekto ay may tatlong contract packages.

Ipinag-utos na nina Project Director Virgilio Castillo at Project Manager Francisco Sawali ng UPMO-Roads Management Cluster 1 (Bilateral) sa Marawi road contractors na mabilisan ang konstruksyon para mapunan ang dalawang buwang suspensyon nito dahil sa lockdown.

Sinabi pa ni Sadain, DPWH Focal Person in the Inter-Agency Task Force Bangon Marawi, agad silang nakipag-ugnayan sa DPWH UPMO-RMC1 at contractors nang alisin ang local community lockdown sa Marawi City para magbalik trabaho.

Ang pagbabalik-trabaho aniya ay tumatalima sa inilabas ni DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar na construction safety guidelines para sa implementasyon ng infrastructure projects sa kasagsagan ng “new normal.”
