Umabot sa 35 degrees Celsius ang naitalang pinakamataas temperatura sa Metro Manila ngayong araw ng Biyernes, May 22.
Ayon sa PAGASA, naitala ito dakong alas 12:00 ng tanghali sa PAGASA Science Garden sa Quezon City.
Sa parehong oras ay naitala naman ang 41 degrees Celsius na heat index o alinsangan.
Payo ng PAGASA sa publiko manatiling hydrated at iwasan ang labis na physical activities kapag matindi ang init ng panahon.
