41 degrees Celsius na heat index naitala sa Quezon City, May 21
Mainit at maalinsangang panahon pa rin ang naranasan sa Metro Manila, araw ng Huwebes (May 21).
Ayon sa PAGASA, pumalo sa 41 degrees Celsius ang heat index o alinsangang naramdaman sa bahagi ng Science Garden sa Quezon City bandang 1:30 ng hapon.
Umabot naman sa 35.4 degrees Celsius ang air temperature sa nasabing lugar sa kaparehong oras.
Dahil dito, patuloy ang paalala ng weather bureau na dalasan ang pag-inom ng tubig.
Iwasan din ang anumang physical activities tuwing tanghali at hapon para makaiwas sa heat stress.
