Pilipinas nasa first wave pa lang ng COVID-19 ayon sa Malakanyang

Taliwas sa pahayag ni Health Sec. Francisco Duque III, sinabi ng Malakanyang na nasa first wave pa lang ng COVID-19 ang Pilipinas.

Sa kaniyang pahayag sinabi ni presidential spokesman Harry Roque na ang nararanasan ngayon ng bansa ay first wave ng sakit.

Pero hindi naman partikular na sinabi ni Roque na mali ang naging pahayag ni Duque na nasa second wave na ng COVID-19 ang bansa.

Ani Roque maaring mayroong ibang interpretasyon ng datos ang health chief.

“Alam niyo po ang medisina, para ring mga abogado ‘yan, iisa lang ang batas namin (pero) iba iba ang interpretasyon. Ganyan din po siguro sa medisina, iisa ang siyensya, iisa ang datos, iba ang basa,” ayon kay Roque.

Magugunitang sa padinig ng senado sinabi ni Duque na na nasa second wave na ng COVID-19 ang bansa.

Ang unang wave aniya ay nangyari noong katapusan ng Enero kung saan tatlong Chinese nationals ang nagpositibo sa sakit.

Nagsimula aniya ang second wave noong buwan ng Marso kung saan bago matapos ang buwan ay umabot na sa 10,000 ang kaso.
