26 na kaso ng COVID-19 naitala sa isang jail facility sa Laguna

Nakapagtala ng clustering ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa jail facility sa San Pedro City, Laguna.

Dalawampu’t anim na kaso ang naitala sa bilangguan, at kabilang dito ang mga jail guard.

Ang bilangguan sa San Pedro City ay mayroong mahigit 800 na preso.

Ayon kay Jail Chief Insp. Geronimo Salle, tagapagsalita ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) – Calabarzon, apat na BJMP personnel at 22 detainees sa San Pedro ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19.

Nagsasagawa na ng contact tracing at pag-isolate sa mga nakasalamuha ng mga tinamaan ng sakit.
