Quezon City, nakapagtala ng 43 degrees Celsius na heat index
Nakaranas ng mainit at maalinsangang panahon sa Metro Manila, araw ng Miyerkules (May 20).
Ayon sa PAGASA, pumalo sa 43 degrees Celsius ang heat index o alinsangang naramdaman sa bahagi ng Science Garden sa Quezon City bandang 3:00 ng hapon.
Umabot naman sa 35 degrees Celsius ang air temperature sa nasabing lugar sa kaparehong oras.
Dahil dito, patuloy ang paalala ng weather bureau na dalasan ang pag-inom ng tubig.
Iwasan din ang anumang physical activities tuwing tanghali at hapon para makaiwas sa heat stress.
