136,000 na katao kailangang i-hire ng pamahalaan para maisakatuparan ang mabilis na contact tracing

Mangangailangan ang bansa ng 136,000 na katao para maisakatuparan ang mabilis na contact tracing.

Sinabi ito ni Finance Undersecretary Karl Kendrick Chua na siya ring acting director-general ng National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) sa idinaos na pagdinig ng Senate Committee of the Whole.

Ayon kay Chua sa kanilang pagtaya, 136,000 na contact tracers ang kailangan na i-hire ng gobyerno.

Sinabi naman ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III na kakailanganin ng P11.7 billion na pondo para maisakatuparan ang mabilis na contact tracing.

Ito ay kung suswelduhan aniya ng P30,000 kada buwan ang iha-hire na contact tracers.

Sinabi ni Chua na may nailatag nang wage subsidy proposal ang NEDA para maging bahagi ng cash-for-work program ang mga kukuhaning contact tracers.
