Pangulong Duterte, idineklara ang May 25 bilang regular holiday para sa Eid’l Fitr
Idineklara ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang May 25 bilang isang regular holiday.
Ito ay kasunod ng paggunita ng Eid’l Fitr o Feast of Ramadhan.
Sa Proclamation no. 944 na pinirmahan ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, ang deklarasyon ay base sa naging rekomendasyon ng National Commission on Muslim Filipinos.
Hinikayat ang publiko na makiisa sa mga Muslim sa paggunita ng Eid’l Fitr.
Ngunit, kailangan pa rin anilang masunod ang mga panuntunan hinggil sa quarantine at social distancing laban sa COVID-19.
