Nais sana ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na bisitahin ang Samar na matinding sinalanta ng bagyong Ambo.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, hindi lang natuloy ang Pangulo dahil hindi pinayagan ng Presidential Security Group (PSG).
“Pero yung mga lugar naman na sinalanta ng bagyo, it’s without prejudice po, ang nagiging problema po talaga ng Presidente, super strikto sa kanya ang PSG. Na for 67 days, diyan lang po talaga siya sa Malago, hindi po siya nakalabas ng Malago,” pahayag ni Roque.
Naging track record na aniya ng Pangulo na bisitahin ang mga nasasalanta ng bagyo.
“Given the clearance to be given by PSG, I’m sure gustong gusto pumunta ni Presidente doon sa mga nasalanta ng bagyo kasi ang track record naman niya ay pinupuntahan niya yung mga lugar na ganiyan. I think it’s without prejudice but we have to convince PSG that they can protect the Presidente,” pahayag ni Roque.
