7,181 OFWs, nabigyan ng quarantine clearance matapos magnegatibo sa COVID-19
Umakyat na sa mahigit 7,000 ang bilang ng mga overseas Filipino worker (OFW) na nabigyan ng quarantine clearance.
Ayon sa Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), nasa kabuuang 7,181 OFWs ang mayroon nang certificate mula sa Philippine Red Cross (PRC) at quarantine clearance mula sa Bureau of Qurantine (BOQ).
Ito ay matapos lumabas na negatibo sa RT-PCR testing para sa COVID-19.
Sa pulong noong May 14, sinabi ng PCG na humingi sila ng kooperasyon sa mga local manning agency para sa ligtas at maayos na transportasyon ng mga OFW pauwi sa kani-kanilang tahanan.
