Nasa Catanauan, Quezon na ang sentro ng Typhoon Ambo at papalapit na ito sa Northern Quezon – Laguna area.
Ayon sa PAGASA, ang eyewall region ng bagyo ay naghahatid ng mapaminsalang hangin at heavy hanggang intense na pag-ulan sa norther portion ng Bondoc Peninsula.
Taglay pa rin ng bagyo ang lakas ng hanging aabot sa 125 kilometers bawat oras malapit sa gitna at pagbugsong aabot sa 165 kilometers bawat oras.
Bahagya itong bumilis at kumikilos na ngayon ng 20 kilometers bawat oras sa direksyong northwest.
