43 alkalde iisyuhan ng show cause order ng DILG dahil sa ‘poor performance’ sa SAP distribution

Aabot sa 43 alkalde sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa ang nakatakdang isyuhan ng show cause order ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) dahil sa kanilang “poor performance” sa pamamahagi ng emergency cash subsidy sa ilalim ng Social Amelioration Program (SAP).

Ayon kay DILG Secretary Eduardo Año ang 43 local chief executives (LCEs) ay hihingan ng paliwanag kung bakit hindi naging maganda ang kanilang performance sa kabila ng dalawang beses na pagpapalawig sa deadline na ibinigay sa mga LGUs para tapusin ang pamimigay ng tulong-pinansyal.

“While the vast majority of the LGUs were able to distribute their SAP before the deadline leading to a national pay-out rate of 97% yesterday, may ilan pa rin na naiwan, thus, the DILG and the public deserves to know why they failed to complete their distribution,” ayon kay Año.

Ang 43 LGUs ay mayroong 79% at pababa na accomplishment rate nang sumapit ang deadline sa pamimigay ng SAP noong May 10,

Sa 43 alkalde, 11 ay mula sa Western Visayas, 8 sa MIMAROPA, 5 sa Central Visayas, 4 sa Davao Region, at 4 sa National Capital Region.

Mayroon ding 2 alkalde mula Ilocos Region, 2 sa Cagayan Valley; 2 sa CALABARZON, 2 sa Eastern Visayas, 2 sa Northern Mindanao, at 1 sa Central Luzon.
