Pumanaw kagabi ang dating senador na si Tessie Aquino-Oreta.

Ang pagpanaw ng dating senador ay kinumpirma ng kaniyang anak na si Malabon City Mayor Lenlen Oreta.

Ayon kay Mayor Oreta, pumanaw ang kaniyang ina kagabi May 14, alas 10:48 ng gabi.

“Former Senator Tessie Aquino-Oreta was a public servant who devoted her life to the country and her adopted hometown of Malabon,” ayon kay Mayor Oreta.

Inalala din ni Mayor Mayor Oreta ang pagiging mapagmahal na lola, ina, asawa at kaibigan ng dating senador.
