Gobyerno, binawi ang pag-aalis ng community quarantine sa low-risk areas; Isasailalim na sa modified GCQ

Binawi ng gobyerno ang pag-aalis ng community quarantine sa mga lugar na itinuturing na “low-risk” sa COVID-19.

Sa press briefing, nilinaw ni DILG Secretary Eduardo Año na ilalagay ang “low-risk” areas sa modified general community quarantine.

Marami kasi aniyang local chief executives, governors at mayors na nagsagawa ng petition request at sinabing hindi pa sila handang tanggalin ang community quarantine.

“Kaya wala na po tayong area sa buong Pilipinas na hindi under ng community quarantine. Iba-iba lang pong level,” pahayag ng kalihim.

Maglalabas aniya ng guidelines kung paano ipatutupad ng local government units (LGUs) ang modified GCQ.

“Magkakaroon pa rin ang ating mga local chief executives ng guidelines kung paano niya ipapatupad ang modified GCQ para sa ganun ay mayroon siyang kapangyarihan na magagamit na matigil ang pag-spread ng virus sa mga lugar na meron pa,” ani Año.

“Kasi kapag wala nang quarantine ay ine-expect natin na baka magkaroon ng second or third wave,” dagdag pa ng kalihim.
