“The Revenant”, best picture sa British Academy Film Awards, DiCaprio, best actor

Nakakuha ng limang major awards ang survival drama film na “The Revenant” sa katatapos lamang na British Academy Film ang Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards.

Ang BAFTA ang itinuturing na biggest film awards sa Britain.

Nakuha ng “The Revenant” ang best picture award habang ang aktor na si Leonardo DiCaprio ay naiuwi naman ang best actor award.

Ang director ng pelikula na si Alejandro G. Inarritu ay itinanghal bilang best director.

Si Brie Larson naman ang itinanghal na best actress para sa pelikulang “Room”.

Si Oscar winner Kate Winslet ay nanalong sa best supporting actress category para sa kaniyang role sa pelikulang “Steve Jobs”. Habang si Mark Rylance naman ang nagwagi bilang best supporting actor para sa “Bridge of Spies”.

Si DiCaprio ay gumanap bilang ‘fur-trapper’ na si Hugh Glass sa nasabing pelikula na inatake ng bear pero nagawang makaligtas.
