Globe at DOST naglunsad ng COVID Symptom Reporting Service

Sa pamamagitan ng text message o SMS maari nang mag-report ang publiko kung sila ay nakararanas ng sintomas ng COVID-19.

Ito ay makaraang ilunsad ng Globe Telecom ang TanodCOVID na isang SMS Symptom Reporting Service.

Ito ay sa pakikipagtulungan sa Department of Science and Technology (DOST) – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD).

Ayon sa Globe, layunin ng SMS-based self-reporting platform na TanodCOVID na mas mapaigting pa ang kapasidad ng bansa sa pag-trace ng suspected COVID-19 cases.

Ang programa ay binuo ng Ateneo Center for Computing Competency and Research (ACCCRe) ng Ateneo de Manila University.

Ang mga residente na nakararanas ng sintomas gaya ng ubo, lagnat, hirap sa paghinga at ba pa ay maaring magbigay impormasyon sa kanilang local health officials sa pamamagitan ng text.

Ang Globe ay magbibigay sa kanilang LGU partners at constituents ng access sa TanodCOVID nang walang mobile charges.

Sa ngayon available na ang serbisyo sa ilang lugar gaya ng Malabon City at Mandaluyong City, munisipalidad ng Maigo sa Lanao del Norte, Puerto Galera at Bongabong sa Oriental Mindoro, San Jose sa Romblon, Jabonga, Agusan del Norte, at Valencia City, Bukidnon.
