Nagsagawa ng immunization drive kontra tigdas ang Manila City government.
Ito ay para masiguro ang kaligtasan ng mga bata sa gitna ng kinakaharap na problema sa coronavirus disease o COVID-19.
Ayon kay Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, layunin ng programa na maagapan ang pagkalat ng sakit.
“Kasabay n’yan, the swabbing, the rapid testing, massive, eh hindi rin po tayo nagpapabaya sa ibang sakit na maaaring kumalat din. Tuloy-tuloy po ang catch-up immunization program na tungkol sa measles,” pahayag ni Moreno.
Sa ngayon, 798 residente mula sa 11 barangay sa Manila ang naturukan na nb anti-measles vaccine.
