Pitong toneladang PPE at iba pang medical supplies mula sa UAE, dumating na sa bansa

Nakatanggap ang Pilipinas ng pitong toneladang personal protective equipment (PPEs) at iba pang medical supplies mula sa gobyerno ng United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Ayon sa Department of Health (DOH), personal na iniabot nina His Excellency Ambassador Hamad Al-Zaabi at Senior Political Officer Dr. Zakaira Hassan mula sa Embassy of the United Arab Emirates sa Maynila ang medical supplies kina Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.

Kabilang din sa turnover ceremony ng donasyon sina National Plan Against COVID-19 Chief Implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez, Jr. at Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin, Jr.

Ibinigay ng goberyno ng UAE ang apat na toneladang PPE kasama ang surgical gloves, face shields at shoe cover; at tatlong toneladang iba pang medical supplies bilang suporta sa laban ng Pilipinas kontra COVID-19 pandemic.

Nagpasalamat naman si Duque sa ipinaabot na tulong ng UAE sa Pilipinas.

“We are very thankful for the support we received from the Government of the United Arab Emirates — an assurance that we are not alone in this fight,” pahayag ng kalihim.
