WATCH: Halos 7,000 OFWs, sumailalim sa COVID-19 RT-PCR testing
Halos 7,000 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) ang sumailalim sa RT-PCR testing para sa COVID-19.
Ayon sa Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), kabuuang 6,968 na land-based at sea-based OFWs ang sinuri ng Sub-Task Group for the Repatriation of OFWs mula May 2 hanggang 6.
Sa araw ng Miyerkules, May 6, nasa 3,577 OFWs ang nasuri ng Sub-Task Group sa iba’t ibang quarantine facility sa Luzon.
Mananatili namang naka-isolate ang mga OFW habang hinihintay ang resulta ng pagsusuri at paglalabas ng kanilang quarantine clearances.
“Rest assured that once necessary clearances are issued, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) will coordinate their transport so they may finally go home to their families,” pahayag pa ng PCG.
