PNP, mag-iimbestiga sa ilang lokal na opisyal dahil sa umano’y korupsyon sa SAP
Magpapakalat ng grupo ng mga imbestigador ang Philippine National Police (PNP) para mag-imbestiga sa ilang lokal na opisyal dahil sa umano’y korupsyon sa pamamahagi ng tulong-pinansiyal sa ilalim ng Social Amelioration Program (SAP) ng gobyerno.
Ayon sa PNP Public Information Office, kasunod ng direktiba ni DILG Secretary Eduardo Año, ipinag-utos ni PNP Chief General Archie Gamboa sa CIDG na magsagawa ng case build-up operations laban sa ilang lokal na opisyal katuwang ang DSWD at DILG.
Tututukan naman ng Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management sa ilalim ng pamumuno ng Administrative Support Task Force ang progreso sa imbestigasyon sa mga kaso para matiyak na makakasuhan ang lokal na opisyal na sangkot sa usapin.
Susuriin ng CIDG ang disbursement records, resibo at iba pang dokumento at sworn statements ng fund recipients para malaman kung nagkaroon ng iregularidad sa pamamahagi ng cash aid.
