Pagsama sa Albay at Zamboanga City sa listahan ng mga lugar na nakasailalim sa ECQ, inaprubahan ni Pangulong Duterte
Inaprubahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na isama ang Albay at Zamboanga City sa listahan ng mga lugar na nakasailalim sa enhanced community quarantine.
Ito ay makaraang irekomenda ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases na mapabilang sa pagpapalawig ng ECQ ang Albay at Zamboanga City hanggang May 15.
Kinumpirma ito ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea sa inilabas na memorandum na may petsang May 2.
Nakasaad sa memorandum, “In compliance with the directive of the President, upon the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) in its Joint Resolution No. 31 (s. 2020) dated 01 May 2020 and pursuant to Republic Act No. 11469 or the “Bayanihan to Heal as One Act,” Proclamation Nos. 929 and 922 (s. 2020), and Executive Order (EO) No. 112 (s. 2020), an Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) is hereby implemented in the entire geographic area encompassed by the boundaries of Albay province and Zamboanga City, effective midnight tonight until 11:59 p.m. of 15 May 2020.”
