Repatriation sa mga OFW ipagpapatuloy kapag bumalik na sa normal ang operasyon ng mga paliparan

Ipagpapatuloy ang repatriation sa mga Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) sa sandaling mag-resume na ang operasyon ng mga paliparan sa bansa para sa inbound flights.

Ayon kay Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Sarah Lou Arriola, ang mga Pinoy na nakatakdang bumalik sa bansa ay pinapayuhang makipag-ugnayan sa mga embhada o konsulada na malapit sa kanila.

Aasistihan aniya ang mga stranded na OFWs.

Simula nang magkaroon ng problema sa pandemic ng COVID-19 sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo ay umabot na sa 24,422 ang napauwing OFWs.

Sa nasabing bilang, 16,936 ay pawang seafarers at 7,486 ay pawang land based.
