750,000 masks at PPE mula sa isang Vietnamese business tycoon, dumating sa Pilipinas

Tinanggap ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. ang 750,000 masks at personal protective equipment (PPE) mula sa Vietnamese business tycoon at kilalang philanthropist na si Johnathan Hanh Nguyen.

Ayon sa DFA, layon ng donasyon na makatulong para sa frontliners ng kagawaran sa gitna ng COVID-19 crisis.

Personal na iniabot ang donasyon ng anak ni Nguyen na si IPPG-Philippines President Henry Serrano Nguyen.

Dumating ang mga mask at PPE sa Maynila sa inayos na chartered flight ni Nguyen.

“The donation arrived in Manila via a chartered flight arranged by Mr. Nguyen and was made possible through the timely assistance of the DOF, BOC, and other government agencie,” ayon pa sa DFA.
