Halos 600 seafarers nakauwi na ng kanilang probinsya matapos sumailalim sa quarantine

Umabot sa 584 na Filipino seafarers ang natulungang makauwi na sa kani-kanilang probinsya matapos sumailalim sa 14 na araw na mandatory quarantine.

Tinulungan ng Malasakit Help Desk (MHD) for Filipino Seafarers sa pamamagitan ng Balik-Probinsya Program ang mga Pinoy Seaman na makauwi.

Ang unang batch ng mga seafarer na umuwi ng probinsya ay 305 na katao habang 279 naman ang ikalawang batch.

Ang Seafarers Balik-Probinsya Program ay sa pagtutulungan ng Department of Transportation (DOTr), Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Health (DOH), Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), LGUs at local manning agencies.
