Sulat ni AFP Chief of Staff Felimon Santos na nanghihingi ng gamot sa China kumalat online

Kumalat sa social media ang kopya umano ng sulat ni Armed Forces of the Philippine Chief of Staff Gen. Felimon Santos na nagso-solicit ng gamot sa China.

Ang gamot na hinihingi ni Santos ay gagamitin panlaban sa COVID-19.

Ang liham ay naka-address kay Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines HUang Xilian.

Nakasaad sa liham na humihiling si Santos ng 5 boxes ng CARRIMYCIN TABLETS na sa China lamang available.

Ayon kay Santos gagamitin niya ang gamot para ipamahagi sa malalapit niyang kaibigan na tinamaan din ng sakit.

Base sa liham sinabi ni Santos na noong nagpositibo siya sa sakit, isang kaibigan niya ang nagbigay sa kaniyang naturang gamot na ininom niya ng anim na araw at siya ay gumaling.

Ayon naman kay AFP Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Edgard Arevalo, totoo ang nasabing kumalat na liham.

Pero aniya, binawi din ni Santos ang sulat nang malamang ang naturang gamot ay hindi otorisado ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
