Mayorya ng mga senador mas pabor sa virtual session

Mas pabor ang karamihan ng mga senador na magsagawa ng virtual session na lamang ngayong may problema ang bansa sa COVID-19.

Sa panayam ng Radyo Inquirer sinabi ni Senator Sonny Angara na sa May 4, 2020 sa kanilang pagbabalik sa sesyon ay maaring maging present ang mga senador.

Posibleng tumagal lang aniya ng isang oras ang sesyon para talakayin kung ano ang magiging rules sa mga susunod na sesyon.

Sinabi ni Angara na karamihan sa mga senador ay ayaw na magkaroon ng physical session lalo at mayroon nang ilang senior citizens at ang iba ay mayroong underlying conditions.

Ani Angara, siya at sina Senators Juan Miguel Zubiri at Koko Pimentel III na pawang nakaranas na tamaan ng COVID-19 ay mas pabor na magsagawa na lamang ng virtual sessions.

Una nang sinabi ni Senate President Tito Sotto na tiyak na ang pagbabalik-sesyon ng senado sa May 4.
