Fuel subsidy ng Phoenix Petroleum para sa DOTr Free Ride for Health Workers Program, pinalawig na rin

Pinalawig na rin ng Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. ang fuel subsidy sa mga bus unit na pasok sa Free Ride Service for Health Workers Program ng Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Kasunod pa rin ito ng ipinatupad na extension ng enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) sa National Capital Region at iba pang lugar.

Layon ng hakbang na bigyan ng tulong ang mga kumpanya ng bus na nakiisa para mahatid ang health care workers sa iba’t ibang ospital sa gitna ng COVID-19 crisis.

Ayon sa kumpanya, tuloy pa rin ang kanilang pagbibigay ng 50 litro ng langis kada araw sa kada 60 private bus companies hanggang May 15.

Para makuha ang free fuel assistance, kailangang makumpleto ng bus unit na kasama sa Free Ride Service for Health Workers Program ang dalawang round trips sa isang araw.

Matapos ito, saka ibibigay ang voucher na sinertipikahan at pinirmahan ng mga lider mula sa iba’t ibang staging areas.

Ayon naman kay DOTr Undersecretary for Administrative Service Artemio Tuazon Jr. welcome sa kagawaran ang desisyon ng kumpanya ukol sa extension ng fuel subsidy assistance.

“Matagal-tagal pa ang tatakbuhin ng ECQ kaya’t malaking bagay na talagang tuluy-tuloy din ang tulong natin sa mga bus companies na walang-kapagurang sumusuporta sa Free Ride Service [for Health Workers] ng DOTr. This is why we are grateful to Phoenix Petroleum for their continuous partnership. As [DOTr] Secretary Tugade had mentioned, our drivers and operators are considered as frontliners too and because of that, they also need all the support they can get,” pahayag ni Usec. Tuazon.
