27 pang preso sa Correctional Institution for Women, tinamaan ng COVID-19
Nasa 27 bilanggo pa sa Correctional Institution for Women ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19.
Ayon sa Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), muli sa 51 bilanggo na sinuri, 27 ang lumabas na positibo sa nakakahawang sakit.
Isinagawa ang pagsusuri noong April 21.
Agad namang dinala ng DOJ BuCor team ang 27 preso mula Correctional Institution for Women patungong NBP quarantine area (Site Harry).
Sinabi ng ahensya na asymptomatic at maayos ang lagay ng mga preso.
Tiniyak ng BuCor na patuloy na tututukan ang atensyong medikal sa mga preso para hindi magkaroon ng severe symptoms.
Sa ngayon, nasa kabuuang 47 ang bilang ng nagpositibong preso sa CIW.
Dagdag pa ng BuCor, nananatiling COVID-19 free ang ilang Prison and Penal Farms sa ibang rehiyon.
