PAGCOR namahagi ng PPEs sa mga pampublikong ospital

Namahagi ang Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) ng karagdagan pang personal protective equipment (PPE) sa mga pampublikong ospital.

Ito ay kasunod ng pagtaas ng bilang ng healthcare workers na nagpositibo sa COVID-19 dahil sa kakulangan ng PPE.

Nitong nagdaang linggo, nagbigay ng 85, face masks ang PAGCOR sa mga sumusunod na ospital:
– Rizal Medical Center
– Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center
– Tondo Medical Center
– Lung Center of the Philippines
– Philippine Heart Center
– Philippine General Hospital

Maliban dito, nagbigay din ang ahensya ng N95 masks, face shields at protective clothing sa mga nabanggit na ospital.

Ang mga naipamigay na mga PPE ay donasyon ng ilang Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs).

Ayon kay PAGCOR Vice President for Corporate Social Responsibility Group Jimmy Bondoc, patuloy silang magpapadala ng mga protective medical gear sa iba pang pampublikong ospital sa mga susunod na araw.

“We have already reached out to many public hospitals during the past weeks, and we look forward to extending vital help to more healthcare institutions as we continue find our way out of this health crisis,” pahayag ni Bondoc.

Nauna nang nagpadala ang ahensya ng 47,000 POGO-donated food packs sa ilang komunidad sa bahagi ng National Capital Region (NCR), Benguet, Bulacan, Pampanga at Tarlac.

Mahigit 2,000 relief packs din ang naibigay ng PAGCOR sa ilang residente sa San Pedro at San Pablo, Laguna.
