LOOK: Mensahe ni Pangulong Duterte sa paggunita ng Ramadan
Umaasa si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na maitataguyod ang kapayapaan sa gitna ng kinakaharap sa pagsubok sa bawat araw.
Mensahe ito ng pangulo kasabay ng pagsisimula ng isang buwang paggunita ng Ramadan sa Biyernes, April 24.
Ayon sa pangulo, nakikiisa siya sa mga Muslim sa kanilang “spiritual journey of reflection and contemplation” sa panahon ng Ramadan.
Hangad pa ng pangulo na maging inspirasyon sa mga Muslim ang revelations ni Allah para sa kadalisayan at kalinawan.
Umaasa rin aniya pangulo na ang debosyon at sakripisyo ng Muslim community ay magdudulot ng pagkakaisa.
“As you embody the religious insights and epiphanies you have gleaned from this undertaking, may you be moved to advance your collective resolve to eschew misguided ideologies so that we may achieve a truly progressive and inclusive society,” dagdag pa nito.
