Pormal na magsisimula ang isang buwang Ramadan bukas April 24.

Kinumpirma ito ni Mufti Abuhuraira Udasan ng Bangsamoro Regional Darul Ifta matapos ang moonsighting kahapon, araw ng Miyerkules.

Ang Ramadan ay pang-siyam na buwan ng Islamic calendar.

Habang panahon ng Ramadan ay nagsasagawa ng spiritual reflection ang mga Muslim sa pamamagitan ng pagdarasal, fasting, at abstention.
