Nai-turnover na ang 10,000 locally manufactured na personal protective equipment (PPE) sa UP-PGH, araw ng Miyerkules.
Dumalo sa turnover ceremony sina Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez, Chief Implementor Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. at Dr. Gerardo Legaspi mula sa UP-PGH.
Ayon sa DOH, ito ang unang batch ng 300,000 coveralls para sa magamit ng mga frontliner.
Tiniyak ng DOH na ibibigay ang lahat ng suportang kailangan para maprotektahan ang mga frontliner sa gitna ng kanilang tungkuli.
Nagpasalamat naman ang DOH sa member-companies ng Confederation of Wearable Exporters of the Philippines (CONWEP) na nagsimula sa local production ng PPEs para sa health workers sa bansa katuwang ang DTI, DOH, BOI, at PGH.
