Sen. Zubiri, nag-donate ng blood plasma sa PGH
Nag-donate si Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri ng blood plasma sa Philippine General Hospital (PGH), araw ng Martes (April 21).
Ayon sa senador, layon nitong makatulong sa medical experts sa paghahanap ng lunas para sa COVID-19.
Maswerte aniya siya dahil naka-recover siya sa COVID-19 nang walang kumplikasyon.
“But that is not the case for many other patients, whose bodies are less prepared to fight this disease. If plasma donations can help them in any way, then I am more than happy to offer mine,” aniya pa.
Hinikayat din ng senador ang iba pang mga gumaling na pasyente sa COVID-19 na mag-donate ng plasma.
Sa ganitong paraan, makakatulong aniya sa maraming tao.
“All of us healthier, perhaps younger people who have been blessed with full recovery from COVID-19—we need to go donate. It’s a fairly simple process, and you’ll be able to help so many people,” pahayag pa ng senador.
Matatandaang si Zubiri ang unang senador na nagpositibo sa COVID-19 at inanunsiyo nito ang kanyang paggaling noong April 12.
