Bilang ng naisagawang COVID-19 test, higit 58,000 na – DOH
Umabot na sa mahigit 58,000 ang bilang ng naisagawang COVID-19 testing sa Pilipinas.
Sa virtual presser, sinabi ni Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire na hanggang 6:00, Lunes ng gabi (April 20), nakapagsagawa na ng 58,072 individual tests sa bansa.
Base sa datos, 7,547 o 13 porsyento ang lumabas na positibo sa sakit.
50,471 naman o 86.9 porsyento ang nagnegatibo sa COVID-19.
Nilinaw ni Vergeire na mas mataas ang total positive tests kaysa sa total confirmed cases dahil dumadaan pa sa case validation and processing.
Kapag naka-admit sa ospital ang pasyente, nagkakaroon aniya ng repeat test upang malaman kung positibo pa sa sakit o hindi.
Sa huling datos ng DOH, nasa 6,599 ang confirmed COVID-19 cases sa Pilipinas.
