Privacy ng mga posibleng positibo sa COVID-19, tiniyak ng DILG

Tiniyak ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang privacy sa mga hinihinalang positibo sa COVID-19 sa kasagsagan ng ginagawang contact tracing.

Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ni DILG Undersecretary at spokesman Jonathan Malaya na sinusunod nila ang direktiba ng Inter-agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) na maging national-government-enabled, LGU-led at people-centered response ang contact tracing.

Sinisiguro aniya ang kapakanan ng mga tao kabilang na ang privacy.

Muling nakiusap si Malaya sa publiko na maging tapat sa lagay ng kalusugan dahil hindi aniya biro ang sakit.

Agad aniyang i-report sa mga otoridad kung mayroong nararamdamang sintomas ng sakit o kaya ay nakasalamuha ang pasyenteng positibo sa COVID-19.
