Kinumpirma ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Archie Gamboa na nadagdagan pa ang bilang ng tinamaan ng COVID-19 sa kanilang hanay.
Sa huling tala, nasa 74 pulis na aniya ang positibo sa COVID-19.
723 na kaso naman ang itinuturing na ‘probable’ at ‘suspect’ sa nakakahawang sakit.
Sinabi pa nito na 12 pulis ang naka-recover habang tatlo ang pumanaw sa gitna ng paglaban sa COVID-19.
“We will not allow the continued increase in the cases of our law enforcers who are the country’s last line of defense in maintaining order amidst our fight against COVID-19,” ani Gamboa.
