Mga umuuwing OFW obligadong sumailalim sa rapid testing sa COVID-19 pagdating sa bansa

Obligadong sumailalim sa rapid testing para sa COVID-19 ang lahat ng Overseas Filipinos Workers (OFWs) na umuuwi sa bansa.

Ayon kay Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) spokesperson Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, lahat ng sea-based at land-based OFWs na babalik sa Pilipinas ay sasailalim sa rapid antibody testing sa COVID-19.

Base ito sa Department Memorandum 2020-0180 ng Department of Health.

Ang mga Sea-based Filipino workers naman na mula sa mga cruise ship at naisyuhan na ng Clean Bill of Health ng Bureau of Quarantine at mayroon nang certificate of completion ng kanilang 14-day quarantine mula sa pinagmulang bansa ay hindi na kailangang sumailalim sa rapid antibody testing.

Maliban sa mandatory testing ay iiral pa rin ang mandatory 14-day facility-based quarantine sa mga umuuwing OFW.
