Trump nag-alok ng tulong sa Pilipinas sa laban vs COVID-19

Nag-alok ng tulong sa Pilipinas si US President Donald Trump nang makausap niya sa telepono si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Sa pahayag ng US Embassy sa Maynila, nagkasundo sina Trump at Duterte na magtutulungan para talunin ang COVID-19.

“Both leaders agreed to continue working together as long-time allies to defeat the pandemic, save lives, and restore global economic strength,” read the statement sent by the US Embassy,” ayon sa US Embassy.

Nagpaabot din si Trump ng pakikiramay kay Pangulong Duterte sa pagpanaw ng 11 sundalo sa engkwentro sa Abu Sayyaf sa Sulu.

Pinag-usapan din ng dalawang lider ang pagpapalakas pa sa economic, cultural at security ties ng dalawang bansa.

Una nang sinabi ng Malakanyang na ‘cordial’ ang naging pag-uusap sa telepono nina Trump at Duterte.
