Mahigit 19,000 PUV drivers tumanggap na ng ayuda sa ilalim ng SAP

Umabot na sa 19,521 Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) drivers ang nakatanggap ng ayuda mula nang magsimula ang pamamahagi nitong Abril 7, 2020 hanggang Abril 20, 2020.

Ang pagbibigay-ayuda ay alinsunod sa Social Amelioration Program (SAP) ng gobyerno na pinangungunahan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), katuwang ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), at Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP).

Sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa LBP, ibinibigay ang ayuda sa mga PUV drivers na hindi nakakabiyahe dahil sa ipinatutupad na Enhanced Community Quarantine dulot ng Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Nagpapatuloy ang pamamahagi ng ayuda sa mga PUV drivers ngayong araw, 21 April 2020.

Mahigpit na paalala ng LTFRB sa mga PUV drivers, sundin ang Physical Distancing Guidelines habang kinukuha ang cash assistance.
