Bahagi ng palengke sa Marikina ipinasara matapos pumanaw ang isang vendor na may sintomas ng COVID-19

Ipinag-utos ni Marikina City Mayor Marcy Teodoro ang pansamantalang pagsasara ng wet section ng Marikina City Public Market.

Ito ay matapos na masawi ang isang 72 anyos na vendor na nakitaan ng sintomas ng COVID-19.

Ayon kay Teodoro, nagpapatuloy na ang decontamination sa palengke.

Nagsasagawa na rin ng contact-tracing sa mga opsibleng nakasalamuha ng vendor.

Ito ay para agad maisailalim sa test ang mga na-expose sa pumanaw na vendor.

Nananatili namang bukas ang ibang bahagi ng palengke gaya ng Dry Goods Section at mahigpit na ipinatutupad ang strict social distancing.
