40,000 PPEs mula San Miguel Corp., naihatid na sa mga ospital

Nai-deliver na sa mga pagamutan ang unang 40,000 personal protective equipment (PPEs) na donasyon ng San Miguel Corporation (SMC).

Ang 40,000 PPEs ay inihatid sa nasa 60 health facilities sa bansa.

Ngayong araw, (April 20) inaasahang aabot sa 10,000 na PPEs pa ang makukuha ng SMC mula sa local garment manufacturers.

Ang local manufacturers na kinuha ng DTI para lumikha ng mga PPE ay kasapi ng Confederation of Wearable Exporters of the Philippines (CONWEP).

Pinasalamatan naman ni SMC President at COO Ramon Ang, ang DTI at ang CONWEP para sa mga nalilikhang PPE.

Kamakailan nag-donate din ang SMC ng ventinlators sa limang pampublikong ospital.

Ito ay ibinigay sa Philippine General Hospital, San Lazaro Hospital, Quirino Memorial Medical Center, East Avenue Medical Center at Lung Center of the Philippines.

Hinihintay pa ng SMC ang pagdating sa bansa ng mas marami pang ventilators at high-flow oxygen para maipamahagi.
