AFP, naghahanda na sa posibleng pagpapatupad ni Pangulong Duterte ng mas mahigit na ECQ
Kinumpirma ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang lumabas na internal memo sa Philippine Air Force (PAF) ukol sa posibleng pagpapatupad ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng mas mahigpit na enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).
Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ni AFP spokesman Brig. Gen. Edgard Arevalo na layon ng memo na magbigay ng advance information para bigyan ng panuntunan ang militar.
Inanunsiyo naman aniya ng pangulo sa kaniyang televised address ang posibleng maging deployment ng militar.
Sa ngayon, wala pa aniyang ibinababang utos ang Punong Ehekutibo ukol dito.
“But it is incumbent and customary on the part of the leadership of the Philippine Air Force, and the AFP under General Felimon Santos Jr, for that matter, to exercise its initiative of alerting ang preparing our personnel including ROE,” pahayag ni Arevalo.
Giit ni Arevalo, walang dapat ikabahala ang publiko sakaling maipatupad ang mas mahigpit na lockdown.
Dapat aniyang alalahanin ang pagdami ng mga lumalabag sa mga ipinatutupad na panuntunan ng gobyerno sa gitna ng COVID-19 crisis.
