DILG, pangungunahan na ang contact tracing sa COVID-19

Inatasan ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) na pangunahan ang contact tracing sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, napagdesisyunan ito ng IATF, araw ng Biyernes (April 17).

Makakatuwang aniya ng DILG sa contact tracing ang mga local government unit (LGU).

Sinabi pa ng IATF spokesperson na inatasan na rin ang DILG na pumasok sa isang data-sharing agreement kasama ang Department of Health (DOH) alinsunod sa Data Privacy Act.

Ipinag-utos na ni DILG Secretary Eduardo Año sa LGUs ang pagdadagdag sa mga itatalagang contact tracing team para mabantayan ang mga posibleng carrier ng COVID-19.
