LGUs at PNP pinabubuo ng Contact Tracing Team ng DILG

Inatasan ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang mga local government units (LGUs), Philippine National Police (PNP) at ang Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) na tumulong at makipag-ugnayan sa Department of Health (DOH) sa pagsasagawa ng expanded testing sa COVID-19.

Patikular na iniutos ni DILG Secretary Eduardo M. Año ang pagbuo ng Contact Tracing Team ng PNP at LGUs.

Mahalaga ayon kay Año ang makapagsagawa ng expanded testing para sa laban ng pamahalaan sa COVID-19.

Sa ilalim ng Memorandum Circular 2020-073, iniutos ni Año sa LGUs na dagdagan ang bilang ng kanilang Contact Tracing Teams (CTTs).

“Mahalaga ang papel ng CCTs para tuluyan ng bumaba ang kaso ng Covid-19 sa bansa. Nakasalalay sa kanila ang pagtukoy at pag-isolate ng mga nakasalamuha ng may sakit na Covid-19 at pagpapagamot ng mga COVID-19 positive,” ayon kay Año.

Ang CTT sa bawat LGU ay pamumunuan ng Chief of Police sa bawat lugar katuwang ang City/Municipal Health Officer.
