Martial law hindi ipatutupad ni Pangulong Duterte

Tiniyak ng inter agency task force on infectious diseases na hindi ipangbabala ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang martial law para sa mga pasaway at hindi sumusunod sa enhanced community quarantine dahil sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexi Nograles, malinaw na nakasaad sa batas na maaring ideklara lamang ng pangulo ang martial law kapag mayroong invasion o pananakop ng ibang bansa o may banta ng rebelyon.

Sa ngayon, problemang pang-kalusugan ang COVID-19.

Paiigtingin na lamang aniya ng pamahalaan angvpagpapatupad sa ECQ para masawata ang mga pasaway.

Matatandaang kahapon lamang, ilang mga motorista ang hinuli ng Highway Patrol Group ng PNP sa kahabaannng EDSA dahil sa mga hindi otorisadong pagbiyahe.

200 katao naman ang inaresto sa Parola Cmpd. sa Tondo, Maynila kahapon dahil sa paglabag sa total shutdown na ipinatupad sa Brgy. 20.
