Nasimulan nang maipamahagi ang cash assistance sa mga public utility vehicle (PUV) driver.
Sa datos ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) hanggang 4:30, Martes ng hapon (April 14), nasa 12,454 PUV drivers na ang nabigyan ng ayuda.
Ang cash assistance ay bahagi ng Social Amelioration Program ng pamahalaan sa ilalim ng Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.
Sa kabilang sa mga nabigyan ng ayuda ay ang mga driver ng pampublikong sasakyan tulad ng jeep, taxi, bus, TNVS, motorcycle taxi at iba pa.
