Graduation rites ipagpapaliban muna “indefinitely” ayon sa DepEd

Kasunod ng pagpapalawig sa umiiral na enhanced community quarantine ay “indefinitely” na ipagpapaliban muna ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang pagdaraos ng graduation rites para sa School Year 2019-2020.

Ayon sa DepEd, habang may ECQ mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang mass gatherings kaya hindi pwedeng magdaos ng graduation rites.

“With the extension of enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Luzon and in different parts of the country, and the continued restriction of DOH on mass gatherings, the graduation and moving up rites in basic education throughout the country is postponed indefinitely,” ayon sa abiso ng DepEd.

Pinayuhan ng DepEd ang pamunuan ng mga paaralan na sundin ang isinasaad sa Department Memorandum 42.

Sa nasabing kautusan, inaatasan ang mga eskwelahan na magkaroon ng konsultasyon sa Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) leadership sa pag-reschedule o tuluyan nang hindi pagdaraos ng graduation rites.

Kung magpapasya na gawin ang graduation rites ay dapat tiyaking masusunod ang DOH guidelines tungkol sa mass gatherings.
